Greek tales - Meeting the Greek classics with the "History of the Argonauts"
Theater & dance
The risky and challenging journey of “História dos Argonauts”, one of the Greek Tales included in the work of António Sérgio, brings you the universe of Greek mythology.
António Sérgio wrote these Greek tales, specially dedicated to children and young people. The goal was to share the magic and mystery of the classical universe and also its potential to produce such powerful metaphors that construct and enrich you. In connection with the exhibition “Sea of Identities” and its 58 ancient Greek coins, comes an introduction to the Greek classics through the hand of this Portuguese author, where one can add his/her vision. For reading, telling and listening to stories requires enthusiasm and dedication, as much as collecting coins. Especially if they are Greek. And very old!
