Only one year after opening, the Money Museum has already been nationally and internationally recognized:
- Finalist of the European Museum Forum prize for “European Museum of the Year”
- Winner of the Acesso Cultura award for “Integrated Accessibility”
- Recognized as “Best Museum of the Year 2017”, by the Portuguese Museology Association (APOM)
