Artists, essayists, curators hold a round table discussion about the purpose of the exhibition
Artists, essayists, curators hold a round table discussion about the purpose of the exhibition. A variety of opinions deepens the interpretation of the works and journeys of the artists, relates contemporary artistic contexts and practices to the modern-day, with the themes handled by the artists featured.
In "Archive", the artist Luís Silveirinha plans to create another order of the elements composing the Money Museum.
The transformation occurs in the planning of the drawing, where the artist decomposes the archive and creats different relationships between both parts: registration, transformation and subversion the discourse of the collection and the museum, creating an imaginary estate, an archive of images about the iconography of numismatics, of power and desire.
With Luís Silveirinha, João Silvério, Maria de Fátima Lambert and Maria de Aires da Silveira.
