
We will present some of the exotic products that came to Lisbon during the 16th century and contributed to the prosperity and fame of the kingdom’s capital
We will present some of the exotic products that came to Lisbon during the 16th century and contributed to the prosperity and fame of the kingdom’s capital. We will give special emphasis to the products that were highly desired by foreign collectors, such as sea coconuts and ‘unicorn horns’, as well as the rare oriental spices and commodities.
Participants will have samples of all the products presented at their disposal for on-site study.
