As part of the temporary exhibition now on at the Museu do Dinheiro, “Lx 14 mayo 1575”, two very special tours will take place.
It’s a new type of tour, in which participants get on a tourist boat and sale along Lisbon's riverfront, while curator and archaeologist Artur Rocha and the educational team provide more insights.
The tour is inspired by the drawing of Lisbon on display and the special circumstances under which Simão de Miranda did it: sitting on a boat in the Tagus, facing the city.
Along the sailing, there’ll be some drawing challenges so that each one feels exactly what the author of this extraordinary drawing felt on May 14, 1575.
