From the history of money and some objects of the permanent collection we will reflect on the relations between West and East.
From here to there. From there to here. So begins a story that isn’t quite so linear. What West and East are we talking about? Why the fascination with the Orient? Is there only one? Whether in the form of money or not, many of the Museum’s artefacts allude to the wealth of the meeting between East and West and our fascination with other cultures.
And, after all, can money unite and not divide?
West, East. Between here and there
