Proyecto Ibérico Orquestral | Darcos Season

Free admission

Ytaka | La Voz de Mozart

With the motto “Distance brings us closer together”, Proyecto Ibérico Orquestal came about through the cooperation of young musicians from Andorra, Spain and Portugal, guided by renowned specialists and the Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León, with a philosophy of entrepreneurship and leadership. In this context, the project aims not only to train musicians, but to prepare them for the competitive professional environment that awaits them and shorten distances thanks to their mobility and versatility. Forging music and movement, the performers are challenged to play works from the great classical repertoire from memory and with movement.
The creators, musicians and public participate in this magical operation of human communication that we call a concert. This is the premise of the Darcos Season.

This concert is part of the 12th edition of the Darcos Season, an artistic project led by the maestro Nuno Côrte-Real, which provides an integrated training background to young musicians, founded in versatility, creativity and mobility as a complement to artistic training. In Portugal, the Darcos Season has the support of Lisbon City Council and the Spanish Government through the Ministry of Culture and Sport, the Directorate General for the Arts and Torres Vedras City Council, among other partners. It takes place in various unconventional venues throughout the year.
