Capital follows the plight of the world of banking through the rise of Marc Tourneuil, an unscrupulous empresario, to lead one of the most important European banks. With the tagline Money is the Master, the director sheds light on some of the power games that ensure that capital grows and that the banks constantly get rich.
With acclaimed Greek director Costa-Gavras (Missing, The Ax, Eden is West) writing the screenplay and directing, this drama sets out to expose the origins and consequences of the economic crisis and the moral responsibility of banking institutions in relation to the lives of ordinary people.
